Found this track while I was clearing out the music submissions from an old blog. If you sent music to that dormant email address over the past ten months, then my bad.
Savi Kaboo comes from Vienna, and since 2020 has written 130 tracks, with “OK” being the latest in her repertoire of songs that shift between R&B, alternative pop, and experimental electronica. She’s an artist from the current Eurovision host city with international appeal: She’s racked up almost four million streams across all her releases, and aside from getting regular play on Austria’s FM4, she’s started to pick up global radio support as well.
“OK” pops with an infectious electronic beat rife with vocal stabs and Savi’s excellent vocals delivering vulnerable lyrics. The colorful video, as mentioned in the press kit, marks a new creative chapter for her. The song’s certainly an earworm, fit for anyone who appreciates the music of Addison Rae or any of the other pop girlies in the mainstream these days.
I think “OK” is more than just OK, and therefore I’m happy to have finally dug it out of the mail to give it a listen. My apologies to Savi for just getting around to it now. Check out the music video for “OK” and follow Savi on the socials below:
